What is the A-7 Corsair II Association?

The A-7 Corsair II Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the A-7 Corsair II, a carrier-based attack aircraft that served in the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. The A-7 Corsair II was in active service from the 1960s through the 1990s and was involved in various military conflicts, including the Vietnam War and the Gulf War.

The association is made up of former A-7 Corsair II pilots, crew members, and enthusiasts who are passionate about the aircraft and its role in military aviation. They often organize events, reunions, and activities to bring together individuals who have a connection to the A-7 Corsair II and to preserve its history. These activities may include educational initiatives, the collection of historical artifacts, and efforts to maintain and display A-7 Corsair II aircraft in museums or other public settings.

The A-7 Corsair II Association plays a crucial role in ensuring that the legacy of this iconic military aircraft is remembered and celebrated by future generations.
